Dr. Madabhushi is a Senior Vice President, Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience at the Nielsen Company. She is leading both innovation and deployment of neuroscience capabilities for clients across North America & Europe.
During her two decades of corporate career, Dr. Madabhushi held several global leadership roles. Prior to rejoining Nielsen in 2009, Dr. Madabhushi spent three years as Head of Marketing Sciences group for Africa and Asia-Pacific at Kantar in Singapore, where she built successful marketing analytics business in the region and launched advanced analytics capabilities for several multinational and regional clients. Lakshmi also spent six years at Ipsos ASI as Vice President for Global Client Service and Analytics, leading advertising testing and tracking, brand equity research for several global CPG clients.
Dr. Madabhushi served as faculty in the Marketing Department at Miami University and Xavier University in Ohio and taught both graduate and undergraduate business courses. Her academic focus included Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Advertising, Business Marketing Intelligence, and Integrated Marketing Communications She was also an invited guest speaker at Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania at Xavier University in Ohio and frequent speaker at Diversity and Inclusion events at inside and outside Nielsen.
Dr. Madabhushi is passionate about building diversity and inclusive culture and invests her time in informal and formal mentoring, coaching and furthering leadership strengths of associates.
Dr. Madabhushi has a Ph.D. in Marketing from Michael Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma.
