Sumair has worked at senior executive levels in Fortune 500 companies and global conglomerates. He has travelled to more than 40 countries across 5 continents for work.
After PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in 1999 Sumair joined a Swedish conglomerate and carried several operational reviews. He joined Nielsen (NYSE: NLSN) in 2002 in their then headquarter Netherlands. He went on to do CFO, strategy, client consulting, general management and commercial sales leadership roles at Nielsen over 17 years across 3 continents. His most recent role with Nielsen was leading a New York based global think tank. There he built and managed strategic relationships with senior leaders from world’s largest tech and consumer focussed companies. In that role, he also led a global big data collaborative that aimed to answer big challenges related to world’s future. Sumair is a consummate thought leader, speaker and moderator.
He is currently focussing on solving complex growth problems using AI. He sits on the board of start-ups and advises several to help them scale.
He lives in Canada with his wife and 2 young kids. Sumair is an avid runner and sports enthusiast. A certified Tennis coach, he is coaching young kids so that they can build an active lifestyle.
